VCA Veterinary Specialists of CT is seeking a talented Credentialed Veterinary Technician Training Coordinator to join our team full time.
Vet Specs of CT is seeking a CVT, LVT, RVT Veterinary Technician to join the growing care team at our 24-7 hybrid & specialty referral hospital in West Hartford, CT. Responsibilities include:
Develop and implement onboarding and technician development training materials
Identify training deficiencies and work to remedy those areas through additional hands-on training, discussion or reference materials
Develop training materials to encompass a multi-modal approach including video, written materials, quizzes and hands on assessments
Develop and coordinate skills wet lab for basic technical procedures
Work with technician supervisor to make recommendations for scheduling training, identify appropriate student/teacher pairs and evaluate employees comfort level as trainers
Identify problems areas in the training workflow and notify management that policy and/or procedural changes may be indicated.
Potential Schedule: Full-time (Four 10 hr shifts, rotating days and shifts (you can create your schedule)
Compensation: $25 - 35 based on skill set, experience, and licensure status
