Whether you are a seasoned Veterinary Assistant or a Technician in training, we want you to use the knowledge that you’ve invested your time and talent in. The skills that will be utilized include, but are not limited to:
Emergency/Critical Care experience
Assist doctor and other hospital staff by care and cleaning of patients
Animal handling and restraint
Facilitates and completes patient triage
Client communication for patient updates
Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging
Must be a team player willing to learn new techniques and treatments and to accept change.
Technician training as needed
Perform emergency care within regulatory limits
Dependable attendance is required
Any allergies to animals must be controllable through medication
Must be able to lift 40 pounds
This position requires the ability to walk, bend, stand and reach constantly during a minimum 8hr day.
