Job Description:

The role works with Royal Canin Korea Health Affairs team based in Seoul.

Health Affairs teams are the scientific face of Royal Canin. Their value lies in their scientific and nutritional expertise in relations to pet health and they strive to build strong relationships with pet ecosystem and academic stakeholders. This allows for information to flow freely between the pet health community (led by vet KOLs) and the pet ecosystem and the Health Affairs team can help external stakeholders to navigate their way for pet health standards through Royal Canin’s knowledge sharing and thought leadership.

Health Affairs advisor will implement the communication programs across pet health and therapeutic areas in collaboration with global teams.

What are we looking for?

  • University graduate in a technical subject ideally related to veterinary science

  • 35 years of experience as veterinarian in the corporate or clinical environment

  • Experience of technical, scientific and nutrition issues in a business context

  • Experience of scientific spokesperson on behalf of the organization

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Act as scientific spokesperson of Royal Canin Korea before pet ecosystem players such as pet health & nutrition influencers (among vets, breeders, groomers, and trainers)

  • Review Royal Canin Korea’s communication & marketing contents from pet health, disease, and nutrition perspective in collaborationLead Vet Student Ambassador programs and closely manage VSA alumni and future vets

  • Develop pet health related scientific contents in collaboration with global teams

  • Develop scientific contents about pet health, pet diseases, and nutrition with reflecting cutting-edge pet science outcome esp. from Royal Canin’s global Health Affairs community. (Training materials, lecture, etc.)

  • In collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Communication, and Consumer Care, etc., review the communication and marketing contents to ensure scientific knowledge about pet health, disease, and nutrition as well as Royal Canin product guide.

  • Develop/implement annual programs for Vet Student Ambassadors from 10 vet universities

  • Develop/implement local vet resiliency programs

  • Closely manage relationships with young and future vets through VSA alumni channels
