Job Title: Veterinary Receptionist

Salary: £11.56 per hour

Location: Calder Vets, Dewsbury

Job Type: Permanent, Part-time

Hours: 25 hours per week to be discussed including 1 in 4 Saturdays.

Your role and responsibilities

The duties will involve, but are not limited to:

  • Welcoming clients and their pets in a warm, professional manner.

  • Managing the diary; booking in appointments and surgical procedures.

  • Answering a range of client questions via email and telephone.

  • Pro-active communication between clients and colleagues to ensure the day runs smoothly.

  • Administration duties e.g. scanning paperwork, filling in forms etc.

  • Processing prescription requests.

  • Taking payments.

  • Promoting offers and services.

  • Ensuring that reception is clean and well-stocked.

Personal Specification

  • Previous experience within the Veterinary Industry (Desirable)

  • A driving license is required.

  • Experience of working within a customer-facing/Reception role.
