VCA Animal Hospitals Outpatient Services Supervisor in Loomis, California
We are seeking a highly motivated full-time Outpatient Services Supervisor with a friendly, outgoing, and positive attitude who enjoys people and pets to join our team at VCA Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic.
Our hospital campus is on nine beautiful acres in the foothills of the Sierra Mountains, set amongst oak trees, a creek and pond and shared with wildlife. We are a large, collaborative wacky family that fiercely looks out for each other and enjoys each other’s company. We like humor, wacky socks, and parties on our scenic patio. We have a strong reputation in our community, offering clients a spectrum of services from general practice, 24-hour ER services to specialty services. We have a supportive and fun team of team board-certified specialists in internal medicine, oncology, surgery, critical care, cardiology and radiology; as well as a large team of rock-star ER clinicians and general practice veterinarians who would love to collaborate with you.
The Supervisor works under the direction of the Hospital Administrator and Hospital Manager to ensure consistent and quality patient care. This position is responsible for supervising the Outpatient Assistant Team.
Responsibilities will include: monitoring the overall performance, flow, and operations of outpatient services, participating in staffing processes such as interviewing, hiring & training, providing performance reviews, conducting monthly department meetings, and maintaining overall accountability for the outpatient assistant team.
Qualifications:
Must have previous veterinary leadership experience including training and development of veterinary teams.
Registered Veterinary Technician (preferred)
The ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and commitment to developing long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and the community is required.
Passion for providing the highest quality patient care.
Excellent communication and organizational skills are required, and the ability to deliver exceptional client service is expected.

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The pay range for this position is $20.00 to $32.00 per hour.
