The At-Home division within the Mars Science and Diagnostics division is bringing innovative new testing and monitoring solutions directly to pet parents to facilitate regular screening for diseases and monitor chronic conditions.
The Innovation Team is seeking an experienced Product Manager to develop and develop At-Home, consumer facing diagnostic testing products in the veterinary market. These new testing products will bring elements of the reference lab testing and sales workflow in a consumer-friendly product experience. Responsibilities will include creating new capabilities to facilitate digital transactions, define and architect new data sharing channels with vets, and develop new consumer-friendly packaging and sample collection tools, both physical materials and digital QSG.
As a key founding member of the testing group within the Innovation Team, the Product Manager will help define and deploy the new product development process for at-home offerings in close partnership with relevant SDx product, marketing, sales and R&D teams.
Build a clear understanding of the at-home diagnostic testing industry for companion animals, identify key market and competitive trends, and understand key customer pain points to define a product roadmap
Drive product development process end to end by collaborating closely with software engineering, design, packaging, operations, finance, and customer support to create new offerings that meet clear customer needs- both pet parents and veterinarians
Partner with commercial functions, including sales, marketing and customer success to develop and deploy initial go to market strategy, and with PR to build market awareness of this new category of testing products
Lead usability testing for new customer journeys, including rapid prototyping and user testing of digital tools
Education and Experience
Experience building and scaling diagnostic testing and technology products, and experience creating, executing, and delivering against a product roadmap to deliver measurable business impact.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to represent complex scientific and technical concepts to marketing and sales teams, as well as to multiple customer segments including veterinarian and consumers
Minimum of Bachelors required; graduate degree in life sciences is preferred.
Experience with health testing products is preferred.

7+ years relevant experience in healthcare with at least 5 years in marketing & product management
3+ years of experience in building and shipping technical products that include digital components
Understanding of the diagnostics industry, preferably with experience in companion animals
Strong problem-solving abilities and high learning agility, with a passion for learning new technology domains
Customer-obsessed, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability to commercial deliveryThe associate will work in the office with other members of the At-Home Diagnostics group, including Product, Software Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success. The associate will travel to other Antech offices and Mars Corporate offices. They will interact with Antech customers, including veterinarians, vet technicians, and practice managers
This is a hybrid role that will be based in Fountain Valley, CA. The general annual salary range for this role is $112,700- $150,000.
